What about reading sprints? you pick a time to start at and how long you will go for and you read with people at the same time and see how many pages you read in that time.

That sounds like a good idea! however that’s not really what i meant but that sounds fun too!!

what i actually meant is like you read your own book at the same time as someone else who is available for the same amount of time.
