Sparkle | 4 comments Can athletes compete in more than one sport, or are you limited to only one?

message 3: by Olivia (new)

Olivia McCloskey (brewingupbooks) Athletes can compete in as many sports as they like - there is no limit.

Do the athletes pick which sports to compete, or do the MODS pick for us based on our groups/countries?

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Can athletes also be spectators for other events that they are not competing in? In order to cheer on other members and teammates?

message 6: by Kirsty (new)

Kirsty Will the challenges be set books?

Some of the challenges will involve specific books, some will be more open-ended, and some don't include reading at all- just book/writing related challenges.

Once your country has a secret group here on Goodreads and all members have been invited to join, athletes will have the option to "sign up" for sports. A thread will be created with a list of sports and the recommended number of participants from each country. Athletes can sign up for as many or as few of these sports as they want, and you can exceed, or not even meet, the recommended number of athletes per sport.

Athletes can be spectators. The sole difference between athletes and spectators is that athletes have the ability, if they so choose, to compete in the various sports/

Are the Olympics still going on? Just haven't heard much, but then I am sure everyone is just busy with school and life!

message 13: by Olivia (new)

Olivia McCloskey (brewingupbooks) Yes, a few of the sports are still taking place!
