This is a section to display or promote your book. If you post it anywhere else I will simply delete it. Part of a discussion is okay of course. But don't interrupt a chat with emotional immature rantings about your hard earned scribble. Not that any of you would.

And don't just post your promotion: tell us all about it in good detail. If you can't: then maybe you shouldn't have written a book.

Michael Alford | 36 comments I wrote a commentary on Genesis, and self-published the 1st few chapters as a promotion for the rest of the book.

The response was underwhelming . :)

Eric Scott | 64 comments I just clicked on Michael's link and read his sample of The Common Man's Commentary on Genesis. I thought it was excellent. I am reading Earthen Vessels with two members in another goodreads group and it's working out great because we share insights and discuss our various findings. I propose those who are interested pick up this book (only available in Kindle right now) and do the same thing if Michael is willing. To me, that's a good use of the goodreads website. If it works out, and I'm sure it will, we can move into other books of interest. I have books, but I'm not pressing to use my material. Someone once said you gain more from listening that from talking, and that axiom holds true of reading and writing as well. I'll watch for feedback. I would reach out to others to get them to join in. How 'bout you?

As far as plugging my stuff on this thread...
