Can I just say I'm super-nervous about the line in the trailer where one of the ladies tells Meg only she can do this. Trying not to spoil, but that's so not what it was in the book, and I'm afraid they're going to make it a chosen one thing. Still very excited for the movie, though.
Also, super excited. Even if she ends up being a chosen one. Wrinkle in Time was one of my favorite books growing up, one of the few fantasy books my parents bought me, and when I saw it was being adapted I lost it in the theater.
I'm excited to read the book so I can know what you two are talking about! ;) Will be starting it soon
It's my favorite book of all time. There was actually a straight to DVD movie made about 10-15 years ago, which I own even though the general opinion is that it's terrible. It stays true to the integrity of the story, even if the special effects are crap.
Our episode covering “A Wrinkle in Time” is up now! Give it a listen anywhere you listen to podcasts!
I saw this movie after a breakup, and so was not feeling the "the answer is love" lesson lol but it was a really fun movie
