Having read through Kjell Ola Dahl’s available books in English one after the other this year, delighted to have just been able to start the final yesterday, The Ice Swimmer....first couple of this series of books started up rather overly descriptive and underwhelming but the last three have been very excellent reading.....which I am assuming is due to the development of the characters and indeed writing style.

Caroline Panico | 1 comments Please don’t all throw your bookmarks at me, I’m still getting the hang of goodreads app. Where is the list for March I can’t seem to find it or a green link - do I need to log on from a desktop to see it? Are these the books with photos up here ^ ? And which ones are in English? Thank you and apologies in advance xx

Try scrolling up and then clicking on the link at the top of the discussion boxes and it should take you to the main page no matter what type of app or unit you are using.....good luck.

Igor | 25 comments The Darkness from Ragnar Jonasson was a bit of a disappointment after reading the Dark Iceland series but a good book nonetheless. Guess my expectations were a bit too high.

Not finished reading yet, but having read the first series already I have more a sense of the main character than I ever had of Ari...and I do enjoy this writer’s style. Nice quiet reading..... Plus about time some attention was given to older characters.
Update: Finished the book so was very surprised to see there will be a new book in the series out in 2019 going back many years in the main character’s life! I will give it a miss. This may be a new trend....does not appeal to me!!
