I really liked this one when I read it on Sunday... is anyone else still reading with me?
I like watching Miles grow older and have to deal with problems in new ways...
I kinda of wish I'd waited to read Falling Free, the Quaddie origin book... I read it back in January/February, I think, and here we are 10 months later only finally getting to see them in the present...

You’re way ahead of me Iain - I am still stuck at Memory atm. I remember enjoying Falling Free!! Would it have been better if you read Falling Free just before reading Diplomatic Immunity you think?
I don't think it would have made too much difference... just spent 12 books wanting more Quaddies is all...

I too am interested to see how the Graf's quaddies fared.

The violinist returns on Graf Station, in this book... Graf Station is named after Leo Graf... the guy that helped the Quaddies escape and survive in Falling Free...

Oh that is awesomeeee... I did want to read more on the violinist!
And yesss - I remember Leo Graf and reading somewhere that they named stuff after him.

DONE! At this point I would just like to say that I do love the way Bujold ends her books/stories! So far there always seems to be payoff at the end -- having said that -- character growth is an awesome thing. (view spoiler)
With that - I have finished all the omnibus editions. That's... a lot of books! It boggles the mind. What a series this is!
