The last kind who was gay had his courtesan as a princely concert. That man was ridiculed and shunned from court. Marriage isn’t the same for the silvers but being lgbtq is not completely accepted. As a kind you can do whatever you want.

When you have platonic love for someone, you will do anything for them. So after Thomas's death Maven would be more sensitive towards anything that involves hurting Reds, such as being King.
