QoS Reading Date: July 23rd - August 23rd

If you’re on this thread, by now you’ve read all of the books so don’t worry about a thing. These threads are for the cool people, where we have no sanity left and can only speak in gifs.

Potential discussion questions soon, but feel free to get the conversation started!

Percy (purdayclair) | 17 comments I would be happy to watch if this series gets adapted as long as they would stick to the book and make sure that Rowan would look every bit sexy as I imagined 😆

😆 same! I personally would prefer to see this books adapted into a movie. Because I am afraid that in a series they will put some things that are not in the books, just like The shadowshunters series. But at the same time, I am afraid, that in a movie they will NOT put essentials things or just deform the stories (like the Percy Jackson's movies).

I think if they could adapt it really well like Game of Throne size or Outlander, they might be able to pull it off. One of the big things they would have to find is a TV station (not sure if I'm wording this right) like HBO or STARZ where they would be able to keep all the steamy times in XD

I didn't think about that... I think that I will burn to the ground the person who will decide to cut the steamy times (just like Aelin would do) ;)

Mhmmmm, she probably wouldn't want to have to keep her paws off Rowan...

I Agree!!! I had so much hope for the shadowhunters tv show because it started out so well! I would much rather see TOG as a movie because the story line flows into each other and I feel like it wouldn’t fit the feeling of the series to be portrayed as a tv show.

I would love it if they could make it into a series like GoT, my fear is that a movie would be too short to cover the events throughout the books. Maybe the first one would work but not the rest! And yeeees, Rowan needs to be as sexy as he is in my mind haha :P I wonder who could portray him!

I've always compared the potential TV show to GoT in my head lol (even though I've never seen it!)

Casting Rowan certainly is a chore - he couldn't be cheesy, he'd have to have a killer accent and of course the looks. I've yet to see a fan cast that I like with him. :/

I'm not sure I could see ToG turned into movies because that would be what... like 8 movies? And then if it did the whole Hunger Games thing where like one book is two movies... But I could see ACOTAR doing that maybe? There aren't as many books!

I had one friend say it would be cool to do ACOTAR how BBC did Sherlock... three 90 minute episodes in a season, so it's like between a movie and a TV series.
