Just finished and I can not wait to start the second! Easy and quick read. I love Si-Fi so this is just what I wanted. Excellent choice

The story took me a bit to get into as frequently happens with Fantasy and Sci-Fi - getting used to new worlds/people/etc. can be difficult.

After getting around that, I really thought this character focused story was very interesting!
