Hello All,

Welcome to my Virtual Book Club! I am excited to start these readings and discussions with you all! As the creator and moderator of the March Selections, I would like to introduce you to the texts that I have selected. This month the theme surrounds the idea of insanity through the characters' personal reflections on the events that are happening around them. I have only selected three books for this month as I would like us to begin our open discussions about the texts on March 23rd and end on the last day of the month.

The first book on the list is, "Quietus" by Vivian Schilling
The second book on the list is, "Berenice" by Edgar Allan Poe
The third book on the list is, "The Thing on the Doorstep" by HP Lovecraft

Please no spoilers in any comments until March 23rd when the goal end-date has been reached!

Meg Mueller (megmueller) I look forward to this!
I have Poe's complete works so I think I will start with that and then go purchase the others.

Thanks for the add!

@Meg I am so glad you joined! Thank you! You can actually find the PDF to HP Lovecraft's, "The Thing on the Doorstep" online! I look forward to hosting the LIVE Skype talk with everyone who joins! I'm hoping things will start picking up some more momentum soon! Feel free to add people who you think would be interested!

Meg Mueller (megmueller) I, unfortunately, am just starting Quietus now but I am SO looking forward to it as well as looking forward to seeing how it fits in with the other 2 selected texts. I enjoyed "The Thing on the Doorstep" so much that I listened to the audiobook twice and purchased the complete works of Lovecraft at Barnes & Noble.

I look forward to diving into some more of the works.
