Book Report- Emma Forward

This book is about a very sensitive topic right now: school shootings. It follows several stories of the students involved in a shooting including Tyler (the shooter), Autumn (the shooters sister), Sylvia (Autumns girlfriend), Tomas (Sylvia's brother), and Claire (Tyler's ex-girlfriend).
I didn't find any of the characters very relatable because they weren't very 3D. Their motives didn't seem super genuine and their personalities weren't really there. I did get sad in the death scenes but I still wasn't very sold on the characters.
I wasn't a big fan of this book because I was expecting a lot more. It could've gone into much more details about motives and psychological effects but the author really missed a lot about this topic.
Like I said before this is a very sensitive topic and I wouldn't recommend it if you're easily scared because this is a very real scenario. I wasn't a fan of the writing style but I understand if someone else enjoyed it. It's an ok book but there's better things to read.
