Let’s all pitch in and spell something.

For April let’s try the words “Shower April with Lisa Kleypas Lovers.”

RULES: Only ONE book per person may be submitted. You may reserve your letter now, on a first come, first serve. However, you may change your mind later in the month, just let us know as soon as possible.

Read a book with a title, series name, author’s (first or last name), character (first or last name), that begin with the letter that correspond to letters of the words we have chosen. You may ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.).

Sarielle, I’m not sure why you can’t either… so, I’m just going to cover all the basics I can think of:

1) I’m assuming you know how to Add a Bookcover Link, right?

2) Are you on a cell phone, using the app? I can never get one in on that crazy app.

3) If you’re looking for the book by that title, there are A LOT of books with that title, so it would be very hard or time consuming to find. A “work-around” we Mods use is to use the series name & book #. In your case it would be Redeeming Love, #2 - by putting that in the search field.

4) Another “work-around” option is to go to the author’s page, find the book, go to the book and use the ASIN or ISBN and use that in the search field. In your case this would be B078R84Q93. Try it! It’s pretty neat.

Thanks Lisa. I’m using the app on my phone & tablet and it doesn’t have the option to add a book cover (or anything for that matter!). I can’t even reply to a person’s individual post. The only thing I can do is post a new comment.

Welcome to the team, Kathie! I just spent three months in Florida with my 90 year-old Aunt Jean. I got her hooked on Mary Balogh by starting here with that book. She just LOVED it. :o)

thanks, the good news for your Aunt Jean is that there are so many Mary Balogh books for her to catch up on! She is my go to, comfort read. And Lisa Kleypas too..I just re-read "Dream Lake" as well.

Yes, MB is a "comfort read" for me, too. And my aunt really liked . One of my all-time reads. I've re-read or listened to it several times.

Finished it a few days ago. I really enjoyed it ;) It felt a bit rushed at the end however still a lovely book. LH is one of my favourite authors. ;)

Finished by Lisa Kleypas - 5 stars

I finished my re-read of and I can say I still really love this book (4.5 stars) and the entire series for that matter.

Congrats, Bubbles99, Carol, & Kathie!! BTW, Bubbles99, what is the rating of your book? Your shelves are set to "private," so I can't check.
