Yea, I know the title is a little Facebooky, I'm at least not doing a quiz to help you find out, or collecting any other data from the friends of your friends. And the characterization lends itself too well to this question.

So the question is which Bob, do you associate your self with? And I completely get that this an easier question for those of us who are geeky white males, so while I think others may see some of the generational Bob's traits in themselves, "none of the above" is a more then acceptable answer.

I think for me in relation to this group I like to think of myself as a bit of the "Homer", often annoying in my humor or other statements, but once in a while having something genially interesting to contribute.

It's been a while, and I don't remember the name he took, but there's one who fixates on a watery planet - that one caught my imagination. This might be in one of the later books, though I don't think that was too spoilery?

I'd like to think I'm Bill. I like the idea of building things.

Rob, you also seem to do a good job "Holding the fort down", another Bill trait.

Yeah. I'm not much of an explorer.

I think I'm like the weirdo Mario that went as far out as he could, just do to something different.

I want to be a Mario but think I’m more of a Riker. The sense of obligation, duty and fairness. The Star Trek uniform is a plus though

I kind like the idea of being Riker. Just as long as I didn't look like him because my wife (and a couple of other females I know) think he is creepy :)

I'm somewhere between Riker and Mario. I want to explore, but also want to make sure things are running correctly.

It would depend on which part of my personality became dominant in the transfer process. Most likely either a researcher like Bill, an explorer like Bob, or an escapist like Mario.
