Hi all! Thomas will be your host for this readalong and this is the space to discuss Kings of the Wyld.

This book is tagged as a reunion between a band of old warriors as they reunite (some willingly and some not so) to save the daughter of one of their members. It's got jokes and references throughout and it's a pretty mad book at times.

We can't wait to hear what you think!

Remember for any spoilers to use the < spoiler> and < / spoiler> tags!

Happy reading!

I'm actually really excited for the follow up as I think the things I wasn't so much a fan of in the first (view spoiler) may be a lot better. I am definitely intrigued what others will think of the first through :)

Jessica | 41 comments I just finished this and really liked it! I found that is felt very geared towards men though. Some of the humour wasn't for me, but it was still a fun adventure. It felt like the Fellowship of the Ring movie and the first Hobbit movie though, there was a lot of walking and talking about getting to a place, and then treacherous things happen along the way. Some of it felt a little convenient as well, but overall I really enjoyed it and had fun reading it.

I really liked Clay as a character. He was a great perspective to read from because he wasn't as (not invested, but something like that) in the task as say having a POV from Gabriel. I wish there were more prominent female characters who were more than just a scary foe to deal with or someone in need of rescuing. I did quite enjoy Jain as well :)

I'm excited for the next book to see more from Rose!

If it doesn't get better by the end of today I will... Lol. I'm buddy reading it with James and he feels pretty similar, haha.
