Once again, Celaena walks right in to a trap. Why doesn't she listen when others try to warn her?

She was blinded by grief and then revenge. Her youth had everything to do with her foolhardiness. I don’t think even Celaena knows the extent to which Arobynn protected her.
You are more forgiving than me, Jonetta. Her arrogance gets in her way time after time and she ends up being tricked. I really hope she's going to start learning from her mistakes soon.
I didn’t see it as arrogance this time, though that is very definitely one of her traits. Overhearing that “planning” conversation got her out of that bed. She was almost blinded by rage and didn’t even stop to think. It was all hate and motion. When she was captured and drug paralyzed she went back over all the clues that were there and she never stopped to consider.
In this case she was following her heart and pain. She wasn't thinking. All she wanted was revenge. I agree that her age has something to do with it. Somethings are still new to her. I felt like the planning she overheard was done on purpose.
Oh, that planning was definitely a ruse. That’s why I put it in quotes. Poor Wesley was trying to warn her.
