Celaena doesn't want to believe that Arobynn would betray her even though it is obvious to us (and to her) that this is the case. Why do you think this is?

I wonder if it isn't misplaced loyalty for what he did for her when she was younger. I'm looking forward to seeing what she is going to do once she actually accepts the truth.
I think her head knows he’s evil but her heart still carries a bit of that misplaced loyalty you mention. For eight years, this man was her everything and he appeared to think she was his. Imagine that changing in an instant, at least in her mind.
It will take some time for it to sink in.

I agree, she sill has the sense of loyalty to him for what he did for her. That blinds her to the overall truth of his character. Plus, as Jonetta said, he's all she has left right now. She needs him.
I hope it does. Maybe being in prison will give her more time to think and put everything together. She never seems to do that and look at the big picture.
Jonetta wrote: "Do you believe that need to be loyal will probably fade while she’s in prison?"I think it will fade in prison but be completely destroyed once she learns of his role in Sam's death.
