Judith and her best friend Lottie go missing 4 years ago and only Judith comes back. With her tongue cut off she must keep silent. Not even able to explain what happened, along with all the truth buried inside with the quietness. An attack happens at the Roswell Station, and there is only one man that can help. She can help even if it means going through the horror and pain that comes along with it. The author Julie Berry brings out the darkness in this mystery, thriller, and romance novel. She spends her time pouring out her feelings in silence to her best friend Lucas, her secret crush but he has no clue. The themes you will notice the most throughout this book is the themes; Courage to tell people that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, innocence make sure you look in deeper than just what seems to be on the surface, and fate what ever happens is suppose to have and usually it's for a certain reason. Judith's attitude toward life is truly a lesson for people all over. She doesn't let a big thing like not being able to talk, stop her from standing up for what is right. Throughout the story Berry uses 2nd person which is confusing to read at times but it really makes more of an affect on the whole story. Another thing that is definitely used in the book is imagery which helps follow the story. Metaphors also help portray the story wonderfully. This book teaches everyone about respecting people for experiences they have gone through. Which gives this book a rating of four out of five.

The book review of All the Truth That’s in Me was laid out well. The way the plot was explained in the review made it easy to understand and compelled me to read the book to find out what happens. I will read this book because it sounds interesting and I want to know what happens with the plot and how it progresses.
