Luca stopped to catch his breath at the edge of the lake.

Helen landed next to him, and slipped into the river unexpectedly. "Aaaahhh!" she screamed.

Luca lunged after her, grabbed her around the waist, and whistled for a hippocampus.

She blushed as he brought her back up, "Thanks," she muttered, embarrassed.

"I do this all the time. You wouldn't be able to imagine the number of kids I've had to save out of this lake." Luca winked.

She smiled uneasily and dried herself off with her magic.

Luca squeezed out his t-shirt and patted the hippocampus goodbye as it went off to join it's friends.

She grinned as it walked away, "so..." she said. "Anything else you need me to help you with?"

"Well, I do need to straighten up the stable for the upcoming maintenance check."

"No problem," she said, "I can definitely help."

"Thanks, that would be great." Luca started off towards the stable.

Luca decided to check on the hippocami at the lake. As he walked up, he heard something crying, more like a someone. He scouted out the edge of the lake and saw a hippocampus by the shore. "Whats up buddy?" He asked. The hippocampus whinnied and backed away. There was a small human boy swaddled up at the edge of the lake, crying. Luca approached the boy, and picked him up. "Hello there." He whispered. The baby cooed at him, and Luca sat on a rock by the lake. "What to do with you..."

Helen, who was walking by, heard Luca saying something. She turned around to glance at the lake and was surprised to see him holding a child! She walked over quickly.

Luca looked up from where he was sitting. "Hi Helen." He said calmly. "I found this little guy by the edge of the lake and was just debating what to do with him."

She smiled and walked over, "well, we should certainly feed him first." she waved her hand and in her hand appeared a baby bottle, she handed it to Luca.

"Smart idea." He held the bottle up to the baby, and the baby guzzled it down. "Mann...this little fella was hungry."

She nodded, "who knows how long he was here," she sat down near them on the ground.

"I wonder why he was left here, and who was cruel enough to do it." Luca's eyes narrowed. "Good thing one of the hippocampi alerted me along with the baby's cries."

She nodded, looking at the baby, he was adorable with brown eyes and brown eyes.

"Should we bring him to the headmistress to see what to do."

((plot twist, headmistriss says they can't keep him but they take care of him in secret.))

Luca stood up carefully, cradling the baby in his arms and walked towards the castle.

Helen ran to catch up with him, he had longer legs and was a lot taller than her, she noticed with a frown, it seems so unfair!
