Andy Hello everyone, i need some help. I have just finished reading the Bernicia Chronicles by Matthew Harffy, and I'm struggling to find something to replace it. i have read the Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell as well as some of his other work. Simon Scarrow is also another favorite. As you can tell i like my Historical Fiction, Saxon Britain as you can tell is a good page turner for me but anything involving accent Britain is good. I'm hoping you kind people could point me in the direction of some good books, a series would be preferable if possible.

Matthew Harffy Giles Kristian, Justin Hill, and James Aitcheson are all worth a try.

Andy Thank you i will give them a try. So looking forward to your next book. Being in the military myself i need to find good books to help me relax while I'm on deployment.

Glad my books help to get you through the days when you are deployed.

Another couple of writers I forgot to mention are Martin Lake and Edoardo Albert. Both of them have got series set in the Anglo-Saxon period.

Nigel Code I too enjoy these books and I am working my way through them. Giles Kristian - Blood Eye is a good suggestion, and if you don't mind a bit of time travel, CJ Sansom - the Matthew Shardlake series are certainly worth a go.
