OOh, I definitely want to do this challege! Rip roaringly fun! And thanks to Jane (if you're around) for getting me to leave my Team Hook comfort zone and peek around for other challenges. ;) I'll come back when I've a bit more brain power (right now I lack the grok) and figure out all the rules and plan my course of attack. ;) Not sure how I'll go about it yet, but definitely will aim for 'Last Man Standing' level. So exciting!
K... someone yell out if I do this wrong. These challenges are super new to me. ;) Duration - within 6 mos. I'm going to try a combination of 4 Spell it out, 1 Armed, 2 Dangerous. "Last Man Standing" level with 26 books total.___________________________________

lol Thanks, Renee! I was gonna just skip the 'and', but figured it was more fun that way. ;P
Question... is this like the big challenge... heck, I don't even know what the challenge is called, but I'm on Team Hook, and theres Team Torchwood, etc, etc... where we have to set up an 'armed and dangerous' shelf and stick all our books we read for challenge in it? Or just post em up in our little 'area'?
OddModicum Rachel wrote: "Renee wrote: "Welcome to the challenge Rachel. I love your "&" solution (and I enjoyed the book you choose too).I usually pay the books after I read then because I'm not much of a planner but oth..."
This is an individual challenge, so you can just post things here. The Wheel-a-thon is a big team challenge, so we decided specific shelves would help us check things. Nobody will check up on you for the individual challenges, they are for you.
Hope you're having lots of fun!
Okie doke... updated my progress in Message #33 above. 4 books down... 22 to go! This coming week will likely be very slow as I've got 8 bazillion other things to take care of. Don't you hate when life interferes with your ability to read yourself silly? ;)

The Bootyshaker is in the building! Hey, Carmen!I meant to ask... is it sort of standard in this group to count re-reads if its been more than 6 mos since you first read them like they do w 'wheel a thon'? I'm a mad re-reader, and tend to read my faves every year or two. Wanted to make sure that was a group standard before I started counting them here, though.

Use an associated word or words such as suggested in the following list. Then read books to spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the series, the first letter in the author's first or last name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name. As always, if the first letter of a title starts with an indefinite or definite article ('A', 'An', 'The', etc.), you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word.
