This service includes a single editing pass for novels between 30,000 words and 95,000 words for $0.005. Since this service is limited in scope to proofreading/light editing, it is designed to be one of the last stages of editing before self-publishing or before finding an agent or publishing house. This service works best for novels that have already been through multiple rounds of revisions or editing to correct for things like pace, flow, clarity, consistency, point of view issues, and story issues.
This service includes basic light editing including: spelling capitalization punctuation grammar
You will receive: A clean copy of the edited manuscript A copy of the edited manuscript with Track Changes and comments, so you can review, accept, or reject specific edits
Unlike the more extensive full-service copy edit, this service doesn’t include: Fact checking (ex. place names, maps, etc.) Line editing (ex. correcting for clarity or reducing wordiness) Substantive/developmental editing (ex. plot, character development, flow of dialogue) Checking for plot or storyline consistency Style sheet creation Editor notes or editorial letter

I have also worked on some mystery, action, and horror stories. I am happy to work on most* types of novels, except erotica. I would also be interested in beta reading memoirs or creative non-fiction.
*If your story covers controversial or extremely graphic themes such as physical or sexual abuse, violence, etc., please provide me with additional details before we decide if we want to work together on your project.
