Ticket to Read Book Challenge 2018 discussion

This is another in the Harry Bosch series (also on Netflix as a series) and a fairly predictable storyline: Harry has to battle against his somewhat damaged reputation to get a job done that no one else will - or can - do.

The interesting angle with this book was a look at the business of black market pharmacology. This is BIG business, which means lots of profit, lots of people covering things up, and lots of everyday people who become victims of a system they have no control over.

If you're a Harry Bosch fan, you'll want to read it. If you want a look at how pill shops work, how they prey on the powerless, and why our drug costs are so freaking high, this is an easy way to take a look at a complicated subject.
