They say 'life is too short to read a bad book' - I say 'life is too short to continue reading a book that you don't like'. What do you think? Name one (or more) book that you started reading and stopped because you did not like it.
The first book I ever gave up on was when I was in my early teens - Alistair MacLean's HMS Ulysses. I loved all his other books (it was Dad's recommendation and he was very sad that I did not finish the book) More recently I put down "Shantaram" - ugh!
