How about The Takeshi Kovacs novels by Richard K. Morgan, starting with Altered Carbon? Fitting, since it is still relatively new on Netflix.
Spook Country and Zero History combine with Pattern Recognition to form a loose trilogy, same universe, some same characters.
Can it be read on its own? i.e. it doesn't end on a cliffhanger? hopefully not. if it does, I will withdraw that nomination.
It looks like we read Altered Carbon in 2013, but I think since its been 5 years, I will allow it. We have to draw the line somewhere!

It can be read on its own, but it's definitely not cyberpunk, not even close. It might not even be SF.
I'll nominate one of the classic Cyberpunk novels - Synners by Pat CadiganAs it happens, I've just read an excellent anthology called Cyberpunk: Stories of Hardware, Software, Wetware, Evolution, and Revolution which had a short story in the same sequence as the novel
How about one of the progenitors of cyberpunk, published long before the term was invented. The Shockwave Rider by John Brunner the British award winning author.
Rafael wrote: "Comic books can be suggested? I would suggest Watchmen"I’ve not read the Watchmen comics, only seen the movie, but from that I can’t see much of a cyberpunk connection.
Of course happy to be shown the error in my ways. 😊
I'll nominate Rudy Rucker's Software, winner of the very first Philip K. Dick award (1983).Rucker's really isn't as well known as I think he should be. I've always found his work way more inventive and entertaining (and weird) than Gibson's, though they come out of the same ethos.
