Hey, you're fine. There's no "right" way to do this. I have literally no idea for my Sci-Fi WIP except for some ideas for what I want to do later on in the series.

Thanks all! I'm gonna try! Glad I didn't have to pass a test or anything! 😊 @ Nicki Yep it is! The Repunzal retelling is the first in the series! I hope to do Pocahontas second, Mulan third, and... oh wait... I don't know if I will complete it or if this is the way it will go, but anyways...

Alright I finally have enough time to put out a snippet of the prologue! ( *cheers* ) So anyways.... here goes....Snippet ~
BELOW THE OCHIL HILL SOUTH-WEST OF TILLICOULTRY, WHITE WISP VILLAGE : 1228
She sucked in a deep breath, "I only wonder why I was so important to him."
The Duchess pierced Kavonna with a sharp look, "Its because he loves you. Nothing is stronger than his love Ka. Nothing."
Kavonna looked up at the rugged old oak cross that was now empty. Blood was dripping down the side and memories of anguish clung to it.
Tears again spilled out of Kavonna's vibrant green eyes, "If Jesus died for us all then why doesn't everyone know?"
Well this is the prologue.... I have no idea what to call this story yet... so bare with me as I decide.

Honestly this excerpt makes me think of the Dream of the Rood. I've read too much Medieval literature *runs off sobbing*

It's a poem, a medieval poem, I think you're safe ;P I just thought that the part about the blood stained cross sounded like a section of the poem,
"Bedewed with blood and drenched with flowing gore,
At other times it was bedecked with treasure.
So I lay watching there the Saviour's tree,
Grieving in spirit for a long, long while,"
Oh.... well I have never read the book, let alone heard of it before. So... I think I'm safe.... I hope I'm safe.

"Now, now what's the rush? Do you not wish to chat before you go?" Mother Avail asked curiously.
Kavonna looked back her eyes sparkling with intense eagerness, "Oh I would mother but there is a stranger at the castle that I must tend to at once."
Mother Avail looked at Kavonna with a surprised expression on her face, " A stranger?"
( This is part of chapter one. )

Thank you, I shall try.... never published a book before, but I have wrote plenty of them. So if I can finish it, and it's worth publishing then this shall be a MAJOR breakthrough for me!

That's what I'm going to do!" She slammed the door shut behind her before he could respond and bolted up the stairs.

Well.... it's a mix of four ( I think ) Christian Fiction / Christian Romance / Adventure / Princess Retelling
