I read this a few years ago and was impressed. I had to google an image of the character's portrait as to what he looked like at the end of the book. Creepy. :)The wit was there as well as the morale. Pretty brilliant & obviously a well-deserved classic.
There’s a quote from this book that I just love:“The books that the world calls immoral are books that show the world its own shame.”
I read this book a few years ago too, and really enjoyed it. Of course, so far I have enjoyed everthing that I have read by Oscar Wilde.

Love it,
I had a really hard time getting into this book, but once I got about 30% in I couldn't put it down. It was so creepy and interesting!
