Ok so it's been awhile since I've read the first two so hopefully I remember most of it lol

Also, Link and his new incubus powers are a little weird and I"m thinking he needs to get a grip on some things because how he's acting is making him a slight tool. lol. And what you up to Amma? Sneaking off to New Orleans and dealing in some dark magic. So far it's interesting. My one complaint about this series is that there's a lot of unnecessary exposition and descriptions, and I see that playing out here too but hopefully the story moves it along. (hide spoiler)]

Still don't know what's up with Amma and now it seems the town is going to hell with all of the problems - these fires, the heat, the bugs. End of the world type stuff there. Also, still hate Ridley. Couldn't remember why I loved this series that much until I got back to reading it 😁

I am enjoying this, the same writing style and characters I loved so much years ago, but it does feel like this sequel had been written just for a sake of having another sequel.
Prolonging the story for no good reason, what it seems so far to me.

There is a lot of dragging in this one. It's like just get to good stuff! Haha

I'm starting to get really annoyed with Ethan not telling so many important things to anyone else!

Also, I'm almost a half way through the book, and still got no idea where this story is going.

I think that has been one of the most frustrating things about this book - the fact that no one talks to each other. So many freaking things keep happening to Ethan and he just bottles it up!

The funny thing is: he doesn't even have a good reason! Not like he doesn't trust them, just that he doesn't feel like talking.

Typical teenage boy! LOL

Finished: (view spoiler)[So the last 1/3 of this book was when it really picked up and people started talking to each other. I love me some Amma, but man she really lost it here. But props to Macon and his awesome magical abilities. Poor Lena for having to kill her mother. And pretty sure Ethan isn't dead considering there's a fourth book lol (hide spoiler)]

Decided I'll finish this tonight tho, even if it took me whole night, so I honestly hope something exciting will happen.
