I want to be a discussion leader for Specials! I've never done anything like this but I'd love to try it. There wasn't any mention as to how long the discussion lasts. Is this a month long, daily check-in sort of thing?

These discussions are for the BOTM books, so the discussion would be for the month of July, but you don't have to post every day. You can if you want to though! We're just looking for people to keep the conversation going during that month. Since we haven't done something like this with this group before, we're not requiring a certain amount of posts or check ins.
Also the topics don't get deleted, just moved to either the stand alone or series folder at the end of the month, but you would not need to keep the discussion going when that happens.

Because this is new is there going to be a new place for these discussions? Where should I start a new discussion for SPECIALS?

Discussion Leader Rules and Guidelines
Please check out our rules and guidelines for discussion leaders before signing up for the position. The first person to sign up will get the position and the second person will be an alternate, if the first can't lead the discussion for some reason. Please only sign up if you think you will be able to actively participate in July's BOTM discussion for Specials.

The first group of discussion leaders will be for July's BOTM and will be sort of a trial run because we haven't really done anything like this before. Since it is the first group of discussion leaders, the moderators and I will try our best to answer any questions and offer assistance when needed.
