How about a book about traveling around the world back, as the author says, before the Internet connected us all 24/7? The author, Jensen, travelled six years around the world back in the 70s. A great tale about places and people. It's called "Around the World on a Dime and a Prayer" and cost a buck on kindle.

It has been a long time since you posted this but I'd like to thank you. I have been off and on Goodreads because I share a name with so many other authors I just get frustrated. I'm on again with a new book, Osaka! Osaka!
