A post for those of us who are writers. Let's share some editor information! (mostly because I'm looking for a good one) ;)

Speak of the devil, and the devil shall appearth.
But yes. I'm open as a freelance editor for genre fiction, especially for space opera, Hard SF, epic fantasy and anything that's rich, exuberant and intense. I'm hungry for work, so please do get in touch. I don't bite. Mostly.
Here's my editor: https://www.phoenixeditingandproofrea...She was the in house editor at Cohesion Press and without her I certainly wouldn't have won my Aurealis Award. Whatever editor you end up going with, just make sure they work with your style and have knowledge of your genre. Mine is a horror/dark fantasy/crime specialist and she is very good with pacing and character.
Sherwood Smith is brilliant and has given me terrific notes and insights on my own work. She does freelance editing and those I've referred to her have been really happy. She also is a voracious reader and reviewer so you can check out her thoughts on books that you're familiar with to see if you connect.https://www.sherwoodsmith.net/
