Scott | 2 comments I think you can add Stephen Voss ('86) and James McGufee ('85) to the list. They had to have authored something to get to their levels in academia.

D. Stephen Voss (Class of 1986) is on this site.

James W. McGuffee (Class of 1985) has published in journals and conference proceedings, as have many of us, but is not indexed on this site.

Ed Erwin | 10 comments I should also mention The Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts: The First 30 Years by Bill Ebarb.

I haven't read it, but I'll bet there is some interesting info in there.

Ed Erwin | 10 comments LSMSA has a page for alumni publications. Some interesting finds, there:

https://www.lsmsa.edu/alumni/publishe...

They include some works of music and theater, but oddly left out singing drag performer Varla Jean Merman (class of 1987).

Ed Erwin | 10 comments Found another: William Rodney Allen. He was a teacher of literature there in 1985 and later. Has written about Kurt Vonnegut and Walker Percy. According to wikipedia, the last thing Vonnegut ever wrote was a postcard to Allen.
