I started this one today!!

Chapter 6 (view spoiler)[Well, I knew right away Chase was going to be the one who killed her sister. When he said he was gone for 3 years, I figured he was in jail. I can't wait to hear what happened with the accident. I understand her parents being over protective, but being so strict is only causing Beth to act out. I feel so sorry she has to deal with all the school drama now that Chase is going to the same school. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 16 (view spoiler)[ I'm struggling with this book. There is a lot of drama in it! I'm really not a fan of the characters yet. I'm happy to see that we're getting a little more of Chase and what he is living. I want in his head. I know in the end I'm going to care about him and that's why I'm sticking to the book. He's made a huge mistake, that you can't take back and it's something he will have to live with his whole life. Beth choices are so bad right now and it's getting on my nerves, but I get the rebelling from the strict parent angle. I hate Jeff he is horrible and too much for me. I'm tired of all of her friends. Okay, I'm done complaining and hoping all this drama will lead to some heart in the story!! (hide spoiler)]

I felt the same way sometime, keep sharing amd let me know when it gets better!

I did finally finish this one, but it was just tooooooooo much drama and bit over the top for me (view spoiler)[ I was happy that everything tied up in the end. Of course Jeff was the bad guy all along. I just didn't really connect enough with Beth and Chase. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6 (view spoiler)[ I too figured out that Chase was involved with the accident. I think that I am really going to enjoy this one. I know that as a parent, losing a child would be unfathomable, so I totally get why Beth's parents are being overprotective, but she is just going to rebel against them! Chapter 13 (view spoiler)[ okay... so I'm thinking Scarlett like Jeff and I'm also thinking Jeff is a bad guy and possibly may have had something to do with Rachel's death...either way it's obvious that he likes Beth and that's just plain old weird. He's not nice - he left her at the party for pete's sake! (hide spoiler)]

Finished (view spoiler)[ I thought that the way the parents, teachers and other kids treated Chase was a bit unrealistic...maybe I just surround myself with good people, but I don't see that many people letting that kind of crap fly, so I agree with you guys on this story being a bit dramatic, however i enjoyed it overall. It was entertaining, just a little over the top. I really liked how everything ended though. They got to be in Iowa together! (hide spoiler)]
