the imperial palace of na layuin is said to be one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in all of leiyun. a sprawling complex of buildings, the palace houses the parliamentary offices and meeting room, as well as a throne room and the royal family's quarters — amongst all the usual things found in a house. despite being the centre of law and justice in leiyun, the palace is very much designed as a home — welcoming and aesthetic, rather than imposing and intimidating.
