the mountain trail is a walk from the foot of the mountain closest to sankiju to around halfway up, where there is a small shrine to leiju (and another one to uniya and fuihajin) and a lookout that provides an excellent view of the city and its surrounds — a lookout that was originally created to assist in defending the city, but after so many years of peace has been somewhat forgotten and left to be overgrown.
