Lovers of Paranormal discussion

Greetings everyone!

If you're like most paranormal readers, you like to pick up the first book in a series and keep on reading until you hit the very last book. Who here can devour a 350 page doorstopper in a single night?

This month we're reading The Dresden Files. Start at book one, keep on reading until you hit book thirteen. Whichever book you're on, post your comments or ideas, or just plain tell us which one you're currently reading. And then, next month, we'll move on to devour something else. We're going for books here that most people may already have some of them unread (or want to re-read) on their shelves, or they'll be able to beg-borrow-grab them dirt cheap, or read via their local library.

I'm up to Book 5, Blood Rites



There's nothing like a book which starts out with the hero saving a bunch of puppies from a flying monkey demon!

Just starting #11. I love the progression in the series and that there’s plenty of books so that I can keep going.

I'm up to Book 9 in the series right now :-) Hugely addictive.

I'm joining you all on this one! I last read book three, so I'm going to pick up with . I didn't care for the third book but I do enjoy the series. It always gives me a good laugh as well!

I finished book four last night and I'm looking forward to book five. I didn't care for book three but I went back to really enjoying the series again with this last book so I got on the waiting list for book five.

I started this series years ago. I keep on reading one, then moving on to another book or series. I stopped at book 4. Some are amazing and other are slow to pick up and keep my attention. I have been meaning to read the 5th one in the series after I finish reading the book that I am currently on now. I'm told this one picks up.

When I picked up the series, book 9 was just released. I read 1 - 9 in 12 days. I love it!
