Helloooo--- Some of you must have read this important book.... One of the most striking things about this book to me was how personal it got for those representing the energy companies. To go after individual scientists for doing their job is a dangerous thing. And points to how "corporate" our political system has become. That scientists and activists are standing up more and more to those special interests is heartening. And I'm happy to say that AMS has a strong history in speaking out in support of those scientists.

Maybe I've been a bit naive, but the sheer audacity and laser focus of energy companies and their allies to discredit everything, including basic science, related to climate change just takes my breath away. How can they not have a long-term view and value profits today over a future for their grandchildren?
Anyway, what was the most striking fact or event in the book for you? Any and all comments welcome.
