There are several moments throughout the memoir when Ebadi draws attention to the fact that she is able to affect change in Iran, particularly when she’s no longer in the country. However, I believe that the strongest evidence of her significance as an individual comes from the fact that the Iranian authorities continue to harass and target her, demonstrating her continued threat to them.
Was there a moment that Ebadi's influence particularly struck you as significant?
