Caldecott Books discussion

I am in the middle of reading it... it is not a children's book. The drawings aren't even that great... and the content is really bad.

I read it just because it was a Caldecott Honor book (I am trying to read all of them) and yes, it was not bad, but neither was it outstanding. A bit slow moving and uneventful, like an indian summer in August. I didn't think the artwork was bad though.

Artwork was decent but the story was bad. It was as if the author tried to slam all the possible teen angst into a book as possible. Also the storyline and inappropriate language distracted from the artwork.
