I'm with Kristin. I would much rather have the first movie remade. It was done quite tackily and much took away all of the drama of the books and just turned it into a pathetic teenie booper movie.

And before you have a go at me, I walked in open minded and was quite optimistic. I even watched it TWICE to convince myself it wasn't that bad.

This thread would have been better with VA, or Frostbite as the book topic.

Anyway, I really hope we raise the money, but I'm kind of doubting we will. I've been looking at the campaign everyday and it's been on 11% for two days. I did the math and if we want the movie we need to way more ahead than that.

I love love VA, but what with Divergent <3,HG,TVD,The Originals all out there, and With possible new emergences like Fallen,Obsidian (!!), The Selection, Daughter of smoke and bone, Legend etc etch which do fall in similar genres,I'm not sure VA will have the same impact as it once had, especially if they keep up the standard they did in the first movie ~_~ Even if they make a remake, it would n't really sell in a wider market,also considering expectation would be very high, the remake would be scrutinised with a exetremly critical eye.
I really hope they can somehow make a part 2, maybe merge the frostbite and Shadow Kiss... Though that could be a recipe for disaster, if it's way too rushed...
I'm hoping for a VA sequel, that will blow the bad critic away, and redeem the series. But it might be unrealistic to hope for ;(

I have hope for Frostbite. Even if we don't make the 1.5 million goal, I beleive we'll raise enough money for the producers to go ahead anyway with the film. I also heard they got different writers and from what sneak peeks we got from indigogo, it's looks good.

With the first film, they poorly marketed it and they changed the release date. That was a huge mistake on the company and they won't make the same mistake again. The film was good but it was short. I still loved it and want Frostbite. If they do better on marketing, it might bring more attention to the series and they can start Shadow Kiss.

So again, I have hope that Frostbite will be made.

173,860 12% of 1,500,000 I hope we reach our goal or at least get close to it. There's gonna be more perks, I'm glad for that. I personally liked the first movie but a can see my some people wouldn't like it. I have hope for Frostbite.
