Emily M | 2 comments I just recently finished a book that I absolutely loved. I mean, I haven’t read a book that has hit me like this in a very long time. Now I have that melancholic feeling that always comes after finishing something spectacular. Anyway, I’m looking for something else to pick up in its wake. I’m on a historical fiction kick right now but I’m pretty much open to anything.

What a great feeling! But there are always more books!

It is hard to make a recommendation for a stranger. But, since you liked "1984" and "Brave New World", why not try We by Yevgeny Zamyatin. It was an inspiration to both of those books.

(By the way, you seem to have accidentally posted your question into 4 separate but identical messages. You may want to delete some.)

Emily M | 2 comments I will definitely check that one out. I’m really open to anything. Something that made you feel that sense of loss at the end. I’m trying to broaden my horizons a little and read things I would have never picked on my own.
