I have become so fond of Bella. She brings a light into the books, when it is really needed. The killers in Leverage depress me with their self-absorbed entitlement. Then little Bella does something nice for "Das" and it leads to a tear-jerking moment between Summerset and Eve. I found the premise of the murders heart-breaking. Then the joy of Mavis's big night, Peabody and McNab getting to go to New LA, and the Oscars moments in the epilogue. I really enjoyed this novel.
I confess to being a tiny touch disappointed - it seemed far too easy for Dallas to identify one of the two murders. But I thought the Dallas/Peabody relationship was further developed and I agree with Wendy that the murderers were depressingly self-absorbed. The technicalities behind the murder plot were definitely correct, which was nice.
