Long Road Out of Ur
If I say the name, "Lot," what picture comes to your mind? If you're like many Christians, I suspect it's that of a villain or a fool, at best. And the Genesis narrative can easily be read that way.
So why did Peter describe Lot as a "righteous man" who "was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard?"
I don't have a simple answer to give. Instead I wrote a novel titled, "Long Road Out of Ur." It's a prequel to the familiar Genesis story.
My hope is that adult readers will see that the God of the Old Testament is as full of love, compassion and grace for rebels like Lot and me, as He is in the New Testament.

I browsed you book, short stories and to the point, well done, We do need to re frame the biblical words and their message, to bring signifiacance directly into our day to day life. OR we will have thrown Jesus out with all the water. peace

Hello! My book is titled Every Nation Under Heaven. This book develops the idea that God created the nations as an act of mercy on humanity that comes full circle in Jesus Christ in whom the nations are restored.
