What did you think of Adam trying to live up to what his brothers Samuel and Joshua?

I felt like Adam was trying to hard to live up to his brothers Samuel and Joshua and all he needed to do was be Adam. When he realized that Adam was pretty damn awesome himself, everything else fell in to place!!!
