To reward those paying attention!
Best book I have enjoyed all year, tough one, would have to be Grey Sister followed closely by Oathbringer.
Most of the books I have 'read' this year have actually been audiobooks so if I discount them then the easy winner for me is Finch by Jeff VanderMeer.
The Final Lesson from Shakyra Dunn is my current favorite of the year. A bit of head-hoping but fun.

Head-hoping is one of those typos that sparks the imagination :)

I’ve had a really good reading year myself. Probably Grey Bastards, Red Sister and the Murderbot books stand out for me so far. Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie is up there too along with Illuminae. Oh and Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. Sorry.....can’t pick just one.
Fingers crossed!Age of Assassins by RJ Barker with a special mention for Smilers Fair by Rebecca Levene .

The Beheader's Romance? The Fellowship of the Fleas? The Lice of Locke Lamora?
Typos are awesome, though humiliating.
Not counting my husband's books, my favorite read this year has been Kings of Paradise by Richard Nell.
The Ripper's Shadow by Laura Joh Rowland.A female who shoots Victorian porn gets caught up in the danger and suspicion of a Ripper-copycat in Whitechapel. Yum.
I really enjoyed the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn Series, starting with The Dragonbone Chair it's a little slow but the writing is just beautiful and after finishing Book 4 and looking back at the series altogether it just makes me happy :) I'm sure I'll reread the books someday!Honorable mentions: The Waking Fire and Words of Radiance
The best book was definitely Oathbringer, by Brandon Sanderson. But I've read other really good ones, like Stephen King's IT and The Bitter Twins, by Jen Williams.
Out of 57 books read so far this year, I've only given 5 stars to 6 books. Here's my top 5 :-)
1. Night (Wiesel) - saddest and most profound book I've read this year.
2. Grey Sister (Lawrence) - devoured this in 3 days!
3. The Tattooist of Auschwitz (Morris) - amazing true love story in a gut wrenching setting.
4. Senlin Ascends (Bancroft) - beautiful prose.
5. City of Brass (Chakraborty) - fantastic debut.
Yayyyy it’s me 😆 Thanks Mark :) I’m really excited about this. It has made my day. Or even my month. And guys I’ll let you know what I decide later. So many choices to check out and so little time to do it right this minute.
Thanks guys :) I’ve sent Mark my choice so I’ll let you know what it is if he says I can have it. I’m really stoked about this. I never win anything lol
Update.....I’ve been away from home for nearly a month and Hubby told me last night that there is a package for me sitting at home. God only knows how long it was at the Post Office though because he never checks the box. I’ll be home in a couple of days and I’ll tell you what I got 😃 Really excited 😆
Finally home and have ripped open my package 📦 It contains a beautiful signed hard back copy of Grey Sister. Thank you so very much Mark. I am looking looking forwards to reading it.
