Madeline Wolf Howdy! So I'm currently this book. And I've passed THE PART. But I can't stop thinking about it. I am so conflicted and i hate myself for it, but I am. I know that it is absolutely terrible. No forgiveness. But I don't know whether it was partly from the SERUM's fault. And as I said, I haven't finished the book yet. Hopefully I will by tomorrow. But tonight I'm just so conflicted.
So I really like Jericho as a player. He somehow gets to be so much more of a player with 1/2 Serum and then FULL serum and he turns into an aggressive sex fiend. And I am not sure how to think about it. All of Evie's thoughts circle through myself as a readers head. Was it the serum? Was it HIM and purely Jericho.
Just needed to vent. Don't know anyone who has read the book and I needed to talk about this.

ibuproffie ugh this was just poor writing imo; i think she was just looking for a way to resolve the love triangle

Julia I think the serum intensifies Jericho feels to the extremes. He loves Evie, he wants to make out with her and now that he is feeling better than he ever did it resulted in that scene. It was still disgusting to read but I feel Jericho was mostly influenced by the serum and did not even consider Evie might not give her consent, so that is why he also as a person has to be blamed.

But yes, I also partly agree with Masterillusionist67, this scene was also intended to make everyone who preferred Jericho over Sam for Evie newly reconsider their choice. I also feel like Jericho is going to die in book 4 but in a fantastic heroic way because that is the only way he can receive redemption from the members of the Diviners club.
