This thread is basically, as the title says, updates. Here you can discuss your progress, what book(s) you're reading, a pre-set TBR if you do those, and so forth!

HEY!!:) I will more than likely be continuing my book binge of the Throne of glass series. I am currently starting .The last book of the series comes out October 23rd!!!!!!! Happy Halloween to me:D

im such a disaster like im reading 7 books or smthing atm but im actively going to be reading Wildcard and The Case for Jamie and hopefully i can finished Bright We Burn tonight

for my first book of spooky month i’m going to be listening to the audiobook of the diviners. i’m also going to start vengeful as soon as i can get my hands on a copy bc #priorites.

other than that i’m planning to read some neil gaiman books to get the spooky vibes going. might fuck around and read some stephen king as well.

My tbr for October is currently.
Finish rereading Vicious: Collector's Edition then read Vengeful
Reread Strange the Dreamer, then read Muse of Nightmares. I also want to read some creepy books, but I have no idea if I will have the time.

after a long contemporary phase, I am back at fantasy genre *self high five*
what i want to read this month - Cujo, Bad Girls Don't Die, Strange the Dreamer, The Evolution of Mara Dyer and to finish Red Queen series.
I'd love to read IT but the chances to actually do it are smaller than my self-confidence

i already finished my first book for spooky month, the melancholy death of oyster boy & other stories which was a very quick read and now i'm moving on to the diviners!

this month i’m going to try to finish all my ‘current reads’ (some of which i’ve been reading for months) but realistically that’s probably not gonna happen lbr. i want to read a book by Anna-Marie McLemore, i’m thinking Wild Beauty, bc i’ve heard a lot of good things about her books. i’m also thinking about reading Frankenstein, because i’ve just read The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein, which i really enjoyed.

my currents reads are: Vengeful and Suitors and Sabotage.
And then I really need to finish my reread of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn.
Other books I planned to read this month are: My Plain Jane
Truly Devious
The Wicked Deep

I feel like these books go along with the spooky theme. And the funniest part is when I planned this I wasn't even thinking about Halloween!

Cool! For this readathon, my plan is to finish Sadie, Vengeful and One Dark Throne. I feel these might fit the spooky theme. Anyway, wish me luck! Hopefully, I have the time to finish everything.

I'm going to finish re-reading The Mother-Daughter Book Club! And after that...I'm not sure, to be honest.

Well I'm currently in the middle of (or at the beginning of) Even the Darkest Stars but I'm not quite feeling it, so next is Escaping from Houdini, Vicious, and then a whatever paranormal/ historical fiction/ historical fantasy I decide next. also supposed to br the Cruel Prince but not sure if that's happening

I'm currently finishing up The Swedish Prince (been on a contemporary romance kick lately), then I'm moving onto book 5 of Kate Daniels because it finally checked out to me on OverDrive! After that I'll probably pop back over to Karina Halle with The Wild Heir.... and I'm planning on starting a new audiobook this month on my commute, but I haven't decided which one yet... Maybe Ready Player One?

I’m not really sure on my TBR for October yet BUT.

I don’t do well with scary books, and so (although this sounds silly) I know for a fact I’m going to try reading Goosebumps. Yes I know there not THAT scary, but I read one once and found it terrifying 😂 so I’m going to try ready some of those.

I’m also going to be reading Allegiant, Thunderhead, Clockwork Princess, and The sea of Monsters. And I might try to sneak some Goblet of Fire in there, but we’ll see how that goes 😂

I'm currently reading Bright We Burn and I'm halfway in, so I'm planning on finishing that as a first step! I'm not sure what I'll be reading next as I'm a mood reader, so we'll see then!

I'm currently finishing the last 250 pages of "The Way of Kings" by Brandon Sanderson. Will probably move on to something contemporary after like "Save the Date" by Morgan Matson and then some of my most anticipated reads of the year. "Spinning Silver" By Naomi Novik and "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black.

Right now I’m reading Heart of Darkness (for school) and The Diviners (which I’m actually enjoying??) After that maybe My Year of Rest and Relaxation or the 2nd book in the Raven Boys trilogy thing. Hope y’all are having a fabulous start to October!🧡

It’s been a while since I read Ready Player One but I remember loving it!

I don't know what I'll read but i think I'm going to read roMANCE because my hormones are back at it again and I WILL READ The Language of Thorns: Midnight Tales and Dangerous Magic and maybe reread mY ONE TRUE BABY The Wrath and the Dawn becauuuse i finally have a copy of my own!!!!

I already finished my first book of the month: Free the Darkness. And I’m currently reading Renegades and And the Ocean Was Our Sky.
Strange the Dreamer and Muse of Nightmares are high priority. And I haven’t the slightest clue which books I’ll end up reading for the rest of the month.

Think this is just about the level of spooky I can tolerate. And like Khadidja, my hormones are requesting me to read some romance books. 😆

I finished The Swedish Prince this morning (verdict: 3.5 stars), and started the Ready Player One audio book on my commute home last night. I'm really enjoying it so far. And I'll probably start Magic Slays (Kate Daniels #5) at some point today. :)

tbh i only read it bc my copy of vengeful didn’t arrive today.
hopefully it’ll be here tomorrow or i‘ll have to keep on improvising and choose random books on my tbr until it arrives. i‘m a small person i don’t have a lot of space in my tiny body for a lot of patience!! why is the lord testing me

I'm currently reading Illuminae by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff, and I'm going to start The Lady's Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzi Lee tonight!! (I received my preorder of The Lady's Guide today and I'm SO excited to start reading it; I loved The Gentleman's Guide.)

So the fool that I am requested the Preeettty edition of Vicious from my library, not realizing there is only one copy in the whole library system and it's due from the previous person on the 13th. Soooo I might not get to it this month. In other news I probably read another 10 pages

I'm thinking of getting to Strange Grace by Tessa Gratton instead
