I hummed and raised my hands over my head on the tropical Island it was so beautiful and sunny. I walked along the shore smiling softly as the warm water flowed over my toes. I hummed softly.
Hades
I was going to kill my nephew that little shit shooting me with his arrows. I ripped my eyes away from the beauty that was the daughter of Demeter. Persephone. She was everything I was not. The little flower would not be able to sure the harshness of the Underworld. I took a deep breath. "Shut it Thanos." I said to my blind compatriot who was chortling away at my side.

Poseidon

I am surprised to see a girl walking along the shore of a small island. A nice get away place but not easy to get to. I wonder how she got here. What she was doing here. Yet I keep my distance, watching her from the water.

Persephone

"Apollo, wait!" I say as he drags me along with him. He and Eros decided to have some archery contest. Honestly I don't see why I had to be there. I wasn't going to be shooting any arrows and I didn't care to watch but he wanted me to come.

"Come on, Persephone. I don't want to be late." He tells me as we break through the forest line to a open field. Eros stood there with his bow and waves to us. I sigh a Apollo let's go of my hand. I find a spot to sit down and hug my knees to my chest just watching.

Guys are so weird. I mean what are they even shooting at. I look around for targets or something. Honestly this just seemed like a macho competition to see who is a better shot.

They shot off a few into the wood and then I see them aiming at a bird. "Don't!" I screech trying to push them off balance so they would miss. "You idiots you are going to hurt someone or an animal."

Hades
"Apollo! Eros quit harassing the poor girl." I said calmly materializing in the shadows. I crossed my arms over my broad chest. "Be careful as well." I said off handedly
Angelique
I was so happy to be getting away. It took a lot to get here but it was worth it. I felt someone watching me. I glanced over at he shore then out to sea to see if someone was actually there watching me or I was just being paranoid.

Persephone

I jump a little as a man appears from the shadows. He tells them to stop harassing me and crosses his arms saying to be careful as well. Apollo and Eros do too and I see one of there arrows go flying. It clips a bird and I go running to go catch it as it falls.

I trip and fall but my out reached hands catch the bird. The poor thing was in pain. The arrow had grazed the poor bird's wing.

Poseidon

The girl looks over my way and I stay low as she looks around. I wonder if she could sense me. She shouldn't be able to if she is a human which makes me think she is not. I drive under the water and swim a little close to get a close look at the girl.

Hades
"Persephone!" I said darting over to her as the second arrow flew I grabbed her around the waist spinning her out of the way as Eros' arrow struck my back. I grunted softly.

Angelique
I lifted the Hem of my skirt wading into the shallows. "I know your out there...." I said softly. "I can feel you watching me....who are you?" I said lightly watching the waves.

Persephone

The man calls my name and I see him dart towards me as I stand up with the bird. He grabs my waist and spins me around as an arrow strikes him. He grunts a little and I look at him with wide eyes.

"Oh! Are you okay?" I ask worried and I glare over at Apollo and Eros. "See I told you idiots you were going to hurt someone!" I yell that them.

Poseidon

The girl lifts her skirts as she wades into the shallow water. she says she knows I'm out here and she can feel me watching her. She asks who I am.

"I could ask you the same, girl." I call out not yet reveling myself.

Angelique
I laughed. "Why should I introduce myself to you when you are being a peeing Tom?" I chuckled softly. "Spying on a helpless young woman? Foreshame." I teased.
Hades
I felt the arrow dematerialize into my back. "I..I'm fine." I said letting her go as if I had been burned. I turned on the two archers glaring at Eros murderously.

Poseidon

I chuckle a little as she teases me. "I doubt you are helpless, young lady." I say coming out from around the rocks to look at her. "There I am no longer hiding. May I have your name now?" I ask her.

Persephone

The arrow disappears and he tells me he is fine as he let's go of me. He turns to glare at Apollo and Eros. Both look at him with wide eyes and take off running.

"Hey! You should apologize!" I yell at them. I mean they hit him! "I'm sorry about them. They can be real idiots." I say softly looking up at him. He towered over me by several inches.

Tall, dark, intimidating. I wish I could be like that. I'm too much of a pacifist to stand up for myself. It didn't help that my mother never let me leave our private field in Olympus. She would be furious if she knew I was out right now.

Angelique
"My name is Angelique," I said smiling at the dashing man that came from behind the rocks. "May I have yours?" I asked politely.
Hades
"They take after their father and grandfather. " I grumbled. I smiled faintly at her. "Don't worry I'm uninjured, would you like me to escort you back to the gardens?" I murmured quietly keeping a tight grip on my control. Killing Eros would have to wait for the moment.

Poseidon

She tells me her name is Angelique and asks for my name. "Poseidon. Pleasure to meet you, Angelique." I say drawing her hand to my lips to kiss.

Persephone

He grumbles they take after their father and grandfather. He gives me a faint smile and tells me he is uninjured and asks me if I would like him to escort me back to the gardens.

"Oh, sure." I say blushing a little at his offer, holding the bird protectively. I would try to nurse it back to health when I got back so it could fly again.

"May... may I ask your name?" I ask softly since I didn't know him. Apollo had whispered something to Eros when he arrived but I hadn't hear what they said.

Hades
"My name is Hades." I told her my hand hovering politely over her back as I escorted her back to the garden I saw her eyes go wide. "Please do not be frightened." I said softly. "I am not a cruel as they make me out to be.." I said chuckling softly. "Your little friend there will be alright." I promised her.
Angelique
I blushed and dipped into an elegant cutesy, "the pleasure is all mine Lord Poseidon." I said smiling shyly at him.

Persephone

He tells me his name is Hades as his hand hovers over my back as he guides me back to the garden. I look at him with wide eyes. Mother had spoken of him before. He is the ruler of the underworld. A dark cold place filled with death.

He says not be frightened and that he is not as cruel as they make him out to be. He assures me that the bird will be okay. I blush a little looking away, biting my lip.

"I'm sorry. That was rude of me to judge you when I don't know a thing about you." I say softly and bow my head. "My apologizes, Hades." I look back up at him.

"I'm Persephone. Daughter of Demeter. But I'm sure you already know that."

Poseidon

She blushed and dipped into an elegant cutesy. She says the pleasure is all hers. "Please just Poseidon." I tell her as I gesture for her to rise. "May I ask how you came upon this island? It is not often I have guests here."

Hades
I smiled softly. "Its alright I'm very used to it. Yes I did know but it is nice to be properly introduced." I told her chuckling softly as we walked.
Angel
I smiled softly and rose back up. "Hmmm I just...found it. It's the place of my dreams...but I didn't mean to intrude Poseiden." I said smiling faintly

Persephone

He smiles softly and tells me he is very used to it. He did know who I was but it was nice to be properly introduced. He chuckles a little as we walk and I smile a little.

He wasn't nearly as scary as everyone made him out to be. He was actually... pretty sweet.

"Thank you for protecting me earlier. I'm sorry you got hurt though."

Poseidon

I wave my hand as she says she didn't mean to intrude. "It's fine. I am glad that you like it." I tell her with a smile. "It's not often that I have guests here but I am glad to hear that you like it. I often come here to get away and relax."

Hades
I laughed softly. "Tis but a flesh wound little one. I shall speak to my nephews later." I told her softly. "Its no problem truly." I said smiling softly at her.
Angel
I smiled. "Its wonderful. Beautiful warm soothing." I said smiling softly as I looked at the Island. "Its a good place to get away too." I said smiling at him.

Persephone

He laughs softly and I blush a little thinking he has a nice laugh. He tells me it is but a flesh wound and he shall speak with his nephews about it. He smiles saying it was no problem truly.

"Still... thank you." I say softly and see we are nearing the garden. I also didn't want to leave him but my mother would be so mad if she found out I had left.

Poseidon

She says it is wonderful, beautiful warm and soothing. She smiles and says it is a good place to get away too. "It is." I tell her with a smile. "There is a hut just north of here. Feel free to stay there if you like." I tell her offering my home here for her to stay in.

Hades
I saw that we were nearing the garden and felt a deep sadness that I would have to leave her. I smiled softly. "My pleasure. Until we meet again Persephone." I said smiling softly at her. I bowed over he hand brushing my lips over her knuckles.
Angel
"Oh... I don't want to put you out Poseidon. You came here to get away as well." I said chuckling softly.

Persephone

He smiles softly and says it was his pleasure. He says until we meet again and bows over my hand, brushing his lips against my knuckles. I blush a little.

"I hope to see you again then." I say softly. "Farwell, Hades." I whisper and lean up on my toes to kiss his cheek before I hurry into the garden before mother notices I am gone. I go find some clean water to tend to the hurt bird as well.

Poseidon

"Please I insist. I don't use it all that often and I am sure you would like to rest. It is no easy feat to make it to this island and I am sure you are tired." I tell her.

Hades
I felt a spark of warmth as she kissed my cheek and allowed myself to soften before I hardened and shadow traveled behind Eros and Apollo grabbing them by the ear.
Angel
I smiled softly. "Well I am but I will be paying you back." I told him smiling softly.

Persephone

I smile a little as he disappears in a shadow. I rest a hand against my chest as my heart beats a little faster. He was... interesting. I never expected him to be like that. Not with what I had hear but he was much kinder then I expected.

Eros

"Ow ow ow." I say as Hades drags Apollo and me by our ears. We were in some big trouble. My love arrow had hit him. It would continue to strike him over and over growing stronger until he gave into his desire.

Stupid Apollo. He had talked me into this archery contest because he wanted me to accidently shoot Persephone so she would fall in love with him. Honestly I didn't really agree with it but he was really pushy about it.

Poseidon

I wave her off as she says she is going to pay me back. "Think of it as a reward for making it here. It isn't often I have guests." I tell her with a little smile.

Hades
"Alright you two little worms." I growled. "Who's bright idea was it?" No one said anything. I pulled their ear higher. "Speak! Before I give you to Cerberus for squeaker toys!" I ordered.
Angel
I laughed and smiled. "At least let me cook you a good meal." I said smiling softly.

Eros

He growls and asks who's bright idea was it. We are both quiet until he pulls on our ears more and says speak or he would give us to Cerberus as squeaker toys.

"It was Apollo." I get out.

"Dude!" He says look at me with a glare. There was no way I was going down for his stupid idea. Persephone wasn't even into him and he just wanted her because she is pretty.

Poseidon

I smile a little as she offers to cook me a meal. "Well it has been sometime since I had someone cook for me." I tell her with a soft smile. "You have a deal there. You can stay are the hut if you cook me something for dinner." I tell her.

Hades
I grabbed the back of Apollos shirt and lifted him up by his scruff. "You think this is a bright idea yeah? False love? And when you tire of her? Like all of your other flings?" I growled at him.
"Do you realize the pain you are going to put me through now thanks to your STUPID IDEA!" I growled.
Angel
"Any preferences?" I asked him smiling softly.

Eros

He grabs the back of Apollo's shirt and lifts him up. He growls at him that does he think that this was a bright idea. Having Persephone love him falsely and what would happen when he tires of her. He is pretty pissed about this whole thing.

"Eh... I could help you with that problem." I tell him before he hurts Apollo who looked scared out of his mind. "There are arrows that counter the effects of a love air." I tell him making a black arrow appear.

"If you strike yourself with this while looking at her you'll no longer feel any of the love arrows effect." I explain to him.

Poseidon

She asks if I have any preferences. "Well I am rather fond of sea food." I tell her with a smile. "Though I am sure anything you make will be good."

Hades
"What's the catch Eros?" I asked him not putting Apollo down. There was always a catch to godly weapons they were finicky that's why mortals didn't wield them.
Angel
I laughed. "You flatter me...but sea food does sound good." I told her smiling at him "can't you escort me to the hut?" I asked him.

Eros

"No catch." I tell him as he asks me what the catch is. "It will dissolve any feelings the arrow gave you. Though some people prefer not too. They prefer the ache, the feeling of love." I explain and hold the arrow out to him.

"It is your choice ultimately."

Poseidon

She laughs again and I smile as she says I flatter her but sea food sounds good. She asks if I'll escort her to the hut. "Gladly." I tell her offering her an arm to hold as we walk.

Hades
"Only because they have the hope of achieving it." I said darkly taking the arrow from him in a firm grasp. "But love and death do not fit together. That is why mortal vows are til death do us part." I said before glaring at Apollo the shadows deepening around us in a suffocating embrace. "This is your only warning Apollo. Do not make me regret it, or your precious Zephry may meet an unfortunate end." I warned before dropping him on the ground and reigning my temper in.
Angel
I smiled at him and laced my arm through his. "Thank you very much Poseidon." I said softly.

Eros

He says only because they have the hope of achieving it. That love and death don't fit together that's why mortal vows are til death do us part.

"True but we are not mortals. We don't have those same luxuries. Some of us wish for me. A light to shine through the darkness." I say and then hush up as he becomes serious, warning Apollo this is his one warning or else.

Apollo pales a little and nods understandingly.

Poseidon

She smiles and laces her arm through mine. I nod softly as she thanks me. "My pleasure, Angelique." I tell her with a smile and walk with her towards my hut on the higher ground of the island.

"So what exactly brought you to this place. I mean it is a hard place to find unless you are looking for you?" I ask curious to know how she came upon my island.

Angelique
"Would you believe me if I said I saw it in my dreams?" I asked him shyly as we walked. "That something drew me here." I said looking at him.
Hades
I dropped him down and he landed on his feet shaking slightly. I with drew my shadows. "Thank you for your assistance Eros." I told him with a nodded to him.

Poseidon

"Interesting." I tell her after she asks me if I would believe she saw it in her dreams. That something drew her here. "Well I am glad you made it here safely then." I tell her.

Eros

He drops Apollo onto his feet and draws in his shadows. He thanks me for my assistance and nods to me. I nod back. "Glad to help." I say and glad ahold of Apollo to drag him out of here before Hades changes his mind about that warning.

Angelique
I nodded and smiled softly. "I am too." I smiled softly. "It was hard to find someone willing to bring me out here...they all believe it's cursed." I told him chuckling softly.
Hades
I shook my head and shrunk the arrow stringing it on a leather strand. Putting it around my neck.

Poseidon

I chuckle a little as she tells me it was hard to get hear. "Well I never intended it to be easy and the whole curse thing keeps people away." I tell her.

Persephone

I tend to the bird fixing up it's wing before I tuck it away in a little flower nest to rest. I smile a little thinking about Hades. He came off as kind of broodish and scary but deep down I think he has a good heart. I mean he protected me from that arrow and was kind enough to walk me home.

"What's got you smiling?" One of the dryads who lives around the garden as a protector asks. I blush a little.

"You can't tell my mother." I start off saying and bite my lip with a little smile. "I met Lord Hades today when Apollo dragged me away for some stupid archery thing." I tell her. She looks at me with wide eyes.

"He isn't as scary as they say. He was actually quite kind. He protected me from a stray arrow." I say playing with a chunk of my hair that fell over my shoulder. "He's very handsome too. Tall, dark, mysterious but there was a kindness to him too."

"You like him." She says poking me a little.

"No!" I say and cover my face as it turns bright red. "Okay... maybe a little. You can't tell my mother though. She would freak about me crushing on him."

"Your secret is safe with me." She promises.

Hades
My blind companion chuckled softly as he heard me stalk into the throne room. "I'm guessing it didn't go well." He remarked.
I threw him a half hearted glare. "No it did not." I said huffing as he chuckled softly.
"My friend there is no harm in feeling love for another." He said.
"It is when it is unattainable. "? I countered back.
Angelique
I laughed. "Yes I would imagine so."? I said smiling softly. "Most Sailors are a bit superstitious. " o said softly.

Persephone

"Thanks." I say with a smile as she promises not to tell. I check on the bird one more time before I got wash up in the lake before my mother gets back.

I slip off my dress and slip into the water with a sigh. I wet my hair and one of the water nymphs comes over to wash it. I can't help but think of Hades again. Would I get to see him again because I kind of wanted to. I'd love to actually get to talk with him.

Poseidon

"Mmm indeed they are." I tell her as we arrive at my beach hut. It was decide in size with plenty of room for two. "What would you like me to collect for dinner?" I ask her so I could go catch the fresh sea food items.

(Hmmm what next for Hades and Persephone?)
Angelique
"Hmmm how about some Tuna...I can make us some Poke." I told him smiling softly. "Some soft shell card would be nice as well." I told him smiling softly.

(Maybe he runs into her again or maybe she spots him when he tries to use the arrow to get rid of the affects??)

Poseidon

"Sounds lovely." I tell her with a smile. "Just let me know what you need and I can go get it or if you need any help. I can't promise I know what I am doing but I am quick learner."

Angelique
"Don't worry, your in the hands of the master." I teased him with a wink. "Just those two things should be good. Thank you." I said smiling softly.

Hades
I stuck to the shadows using them to hide as I dew out the arrow feeling the agonizing ache in my shavers as I saw the beauty giving life in her safe garden. Beyond the reach of cold death, of my reach. I lifted up the back arrow craving the apathy that has evaded me for weeks. I lifted it up to plunge it into my chest watching her freezing as her eyes seemingly met mine not daring to even breathe,

(Good just with school and work. How about you? Also I gotta crash. Got early classes tomorrow.)

Poseidon

"Very well then." I say leaving her to it as I go collect the two things she needs for dinner.

Persephone

I am busy tending to the garden when I notice someone is there. I look over and my eyes lock with a pair of very dark ones. I smile a little as I walk over to him.

"Well hello again, Hades." I say softly with a big smile. "Do you always hide in your shadows when you visit people?"

Angelique
I grinned as he left me and walked into the kitchen using a gust of hot air to dry the hem of my dress. I opened the curtains to let light in as I looked at his kitchen getting things I needed to to get ready, my eyes glazed over turning white as my..curse took over for a moment. Giving me a glimpse into my future that made me blush and I snapped out of it quickly becoming flustered.
Hades
I hid the arrow quickly and chuckled softly. "Only while the sun shines, Persephone." I smiled at her as she came closer.

(Lol I know right! I can't believe it is already almost the holidays.)

Poseidon

I collect the ingredients she needs and head back to the hut to help her with preparing dinner. She was a curious girl but I rather enjoyed the company. It had been some time since I found another person interesting.

Persephone

He chuckles softly and says along while the sun shines. He smiles a little and I smile a bit more. "But that is most of the day. That's no fun. You miss out on all the sunnytime fun." I tell him.

"Would you like a peach? They are ripe and perfect. The season for them is at its peak." I tell him holding out the fruzzy fruit.

(I know! It's crazy lol.)
Angelique
I looked over my shoulder and grinned as I saw Poseidon bringing back what I asked for pushing the vision out of my head as I blushed lightly. "Thank you." I said smiling softly.
Hades
I looked away from her eyes to the peach and reached out taking it gently from her hand. "It's been a long time since I've had a peach." I said chuckling softly.

Poseidon

She looks over her shoulder and grins a little. She tells me thank you as I set down the stuff for her. "Need me to help with anything. Like I said I am a quick learner and I don't mind helping you out."

Persephone

He looks down at the peach and reaches out to take it from me. Our fingers brushing for a moment. He tells me it has been a long time since he had one. "Well then please free feel to take some more if you like it. We have plenty here." I tell him with a smile.

Angelique
I smiled at him. "Well... you can gut and skin the tuna for me, and then I can show you how to butcher it." I told him smiling softly.
Hades
My other hand tightened around the arrow and I smiled softly at her. "Thank you." I said before taking a bite of the peach. The juice filled my mouth with its natural sweetness making my eyes light up.

Poseidon

"Very well." I tell her and grab a knife to get to work on the fish for her. It was kind of nice to do something like this. I wasn't use to cooking my own food.

Persephone

He thanks me and takes a bite of the peach. His eyes light up and I smile. "Do you like it?" I ask him rocking on my toes. Enjoying the surprise of him when he tastes the peach.

Hades
I nodded and swallowed. "Yes...it's perfect better then I remember." I told her smiling softly at her. "The only fruit that grows in the underworld garden is pomegranates." I said off handedly.
Angelique.
I smiled and took the soft shell crabs putting them in the freezer to make them sleep so did was a more humane deaths when they went in the pot.
