October it' my favorite month of the year. Tis the season for spooky reads, Disney channel movies, and Pumpkin Spice everything! And looks like we are going to be reading Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco as our October book of the month. This seems like the most fitting book to read this month. It's a gripping story that will have you guessing until the end.

This is a reread for me this October. Seems to be the theme of this year is rereading some of my favorite books. This book being one of them. I just love it so much. I fly through it every time I read it. It is very cool rereading it this time cause I'm able to really get a look at each character. I can see all the little tidbits that show who the murderer was from the first murder. And I can see all the other things that I miss the first time. I think after this I'll reread Hunting Prince Dracula and finally read Escaping from Houdini.

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments I’m really enjoying this one too!! I can’t believe I waited so long to read it!! Thomas is awesome and I love how he is constantly telling Audrey Rose that he likes her. Can’t wait to see who the murderer is!!!

Yeah that’s what I love about this author. She constantly has you guessing until the end. Like you keep thinking it’s that one guy the whole time and then BAM! It’s actually the another guy.

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments I keep thinking it’s her dad and I’m dying to know if I’m right. I mean, I can’t possibly be because it’s never who I think it is in murder mysteries. I’ve got about 30% left to read and I keep getting interrupted!!! 😳😫🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m sorry about the interruptions, but the ending will more than make up for it. Trust me. And I know I thought the dad was the murderer too but boy was I wrong.

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments I just finished and it was so good!!! I did not see that coming!!!! And Thomas, once again, is awesome and I love him. I’ve just got to read the next one!!!

The next one is hunting Prince Dracula and the 3rd book just came out called escaping from Houdini. FYI the 2nd book is just as filled with twist and turns as the last book and has lots of Audrey Rose and Thomas moments.
What would their ship name be. Would it be Cressworth or Wadswell?

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments I just took the poll on the ship name. While I usually think the girl’s name should be first in that type of mashup, Cress sounds so much nicer than Wads lol... what do you think?

Ive already got the second book, but I’m trying to finish up a couple others I’m reading before starting it. I’m super psyched though!!!

I know Cressworth just rolls off the tongue better. Plus I didn't know if there actually was already a ship name so I just threw those two out there.

I know I've just given up trying to read all the Cassandra Clare books on time because there's just too much to read. And earlier this year I was in a terrible reading slump. But hopefully, HOPEFULLY I'm finally out of it. Thanks to this book at least.

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments Omg I know!! I’ve just gotten so distracted by other books that I gave up trying to catch up. I want to go back to them though. They’re so good!!!

I know the next series is going to be about the children of Will, Tessa, Charlotte, and Henry. It seems so good from the few sneak peeks that I've read.

Shannara (httpwwwshannarareads2com) | 45 comments I also just found out yesterday that there are Cassandra Clare graphic novel adaptations! Like how did I not know that existed?!?! It just gives me more of a reason to get back into the series so I can read the graphic novels too.

Yeah the graphic novels are great. I think they read like graphic novels but are drawn like mangas.
