I think this is from the POV of a teacher, though.

Only Child by Rhiannon Navin. Told in the first person by a first-grader who survived a school shooting, but whose older brother was killed. He recounts the turmoil the events cause in his family.

Well it's not blood related but Hate List is told from the perspective of the shooter's girlfriend.
