I'm almost done with this, but i cannot finish it bc i keep falling asleep 😂
(view spoiler)[I'm having the same problem as last time, I'm not really into it. Even though this has a different narrator than the first one, the audiobook quality is so bad... There's something wrong with the sound mix.
Anyway, i liked the part with caspian's escape in the beginning and when aslan appears to lucy towards the end. I'll try to listen to it while doing something active today 🤗 (hide spoiler)]

I have completed The lion the witch and the wardrobe. But I am not going to continue though I will join in The Magician's Nephew, The Horse and his boy, Silver chair and last battle. I really didn't enjoy as much as HP 2 maybe because I have read it once but mostly beacause I have to continue my Pendragon series with book 3 The never war. I am really comfortable with 2 books at a time.

Just started this morning. I think I'm about 20/25% in. (view spoiler)[ The kids are back in Narnia, it's 200 years into the future and they've just rescued a dwarf. Now I really hate when books and TV shows do time jumps. I think it feels like a cop out and it's a real pet peeve of mine. That being said, so far I'm enjoying the story of how Caspian's ancestors conquered Narnia though I find it pretty hard to believe that a force of men could stand against all the magical creatures of Narnia. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next! (hide spoiler)]

I'm finished. I hate to say it but I wasn't really invested at all. I adored TLTWATW but this one fell flat for me. Maybe it was because I was listening on audio. The narrator was different and there was loads of weird music that kept getting in the way of the dialogue. Also I feel like i have a weird edition because it seemed so much shorter than book 1 and the scenes didn't flow at all.

You might have had the same edition i listened to... It was terrible 😬

It really was, such a shame.

I kinda felt the same... zoomed through to get it over with... also had the weird music... also vaguely remembered the plot from the movie... hopefully the next is better since I won't have a movie to compare it to...

I like time travel, but from what I've read, this series just jumps all over the place in the timeline...

I like time travel if it's part of the plot but this just felt disjointed to me, like it didn't really fit.
